Sustainable agricultural techniques are included in Cal Poly classes on organic agriculture, agritourism, cropping systems, grass-fed beef, Holistic Management, integrated pest management, and soil conservation. A new Sustainable Agriculture minor is expected to be inaugurated in 2007. The Consortium serves as a network for campus and community members to develop collaborative projects in sustainable agriculture.  The Cal Poly Organic Farm devotes 11 certified acres to vegetable and fruit production, offers Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscriptions, and conducts a year-round, hands-on Organic Enterprise class.
