USDA Database for the
Choline Content
of Common Foods -
2004
This database was created through a collaborative effort between the USDA and
the Department of Nutrition, University of North Carolina.
The database contains values for
six choline metabolites:
- Betaine
- Glycerophosphocholine
- Phosphocholine
- Phosphatidylcholine
- Sphingomyelin
- Total choline

Content of Common Foods

- Choline.mdb
- This file contains the
Choline Database imported into a Microsoft Access
database. It includes relationships between files. You will need Microsoft
Access 2000 to use this file. Download the “USDA Database for the
Choline Content of Common
Foods” for full documentation. The file structure is the same as that of the
USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference.

data file, containing all the data in the tables in
ASCII, which can be imported for use in various
database programs
