Milk Matters is a nationwide campaign dedicated to increasing calcium consumption among America's children and teens. Includes charts on the calcium content of commonly eaten foods, including fortified foods, the number of servings of non-dairy foods needed to equal one serving of milk, and the daily calcium recommendations versus actual consumption by age and gender.

Factors Determining Calcium Intake In Elderly Women of Appalachia

This study evaluated dietary calcium consumption in 186 elderly women. Calcium intake was found to be dependent upon social-economic status, milk and yogurt consumption, snacking habits, and personal attitudes toward milk.
