Stewards of the Land was a photographic exhibit on display at Grey Towers in Milford, Pennsylvania. Grey Towers was the home of Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the Forest Service.
The photographs used in this exhibit were selected from the Soil Conservation Photographic File located at the U.S. Depart. of Agriculture Photographic Library, Office of Communications, Room 4407, South Agriculture Building, 14th and Independence Ave., Washington, D. C., (202)720-6633. The exhibit was produced by the National Agricultural Library's Special Collections Section and underwritten by the Pinchot Institute for Conservation.
