Euonymus sp. Ming Tombs, China. [August] 22, 1930. A very interesting Euonymus growing naturally in one of the numerous corners made by the steps and three [promenade] walks about the building. This is extremely ornamental and attractive. This is at Chang Ling, Yung Lo's [Yongle's] Tomb, the 1st [ 3rd] Ming emperor. Photograph #45638.
