This database is not a compliance document. FNS cannot assure that every WIC-eligible formula or medical food appears on the listing since only products requested for review are listed here. WIC eligibility status is not transferable to formulation changes or new formulations with the same name. Products may change after FNS reviewed the product. Therefore it is the State agency's responsibility to verify that products meet minimum Federal requirements when updating the State WIC authorized food list.
