WIC Foods Brochures
This series of staff training tools developed by Colorado WIC provides guidance for promoting and supporting breastfeeding. Ohio developed this series of brochures, effective October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2011, for use by participants and authorized vendors.- Authorized Foods [PDF] This brochure provides information about the foods that are allowed, as well as not allowed, for purchase with WIC coupons and Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers. This brochure also provides “smart shopping” tips.
Authorized Juices and Cereals [PDF] This brochure provides participants and authorized vendors with brand- and type-specific information about the juices and cereals that may be purchased with WIC Coupons. In addition, this brochure contains pictures of all the authorized juices and cereals.

WIC Participant Food Survey Fact Sheet
The North Carolina WIC Program conducted a participant food survey in summer 2008 to enhance development of food policy, vendor management and nutrition education strategies. Over 1900 women completed the survey and results can be generalized to the entire state. This fact sheet summarizes some key information in simple, easy-to-read language.- Fact Sheet [PDF]
