Vendor Materials Package
To support the efforts of vendors, Massachusetts developed a customized materials package highlighting the vendor role in WIC transactions. The package also features a pictorial WIC approved food guide and a poster thanking cashiers for their efforts in making WIC a success.

WIC Approved Cashiers Food Guide [PDF]
This guide was developed by Rhode Island for use by retail store cashiers to match the same WIC approved food photos displayed in the guide for WIC participants. The cashier guide also includes a panel on "How to redeem/correct price on a WIC check.

WIC Vendor Training Video
This video from New Jersey concentrates on supermarket checkout procedures including review of the ID folder, allowable WIC items, quantities of WIC items, dates on checks, WIC participant and proxy signatures. Effective customer service and cost containment techniques are reviewed.
