The guide was developed in response to a need at the local WIC agencies in New Jersey for an up to date nutrition guide for the baby's first year. The guide is meant to be distributed at the new baby certification appointment and the relevant recommendations reviewed during subsequent contacts. The guide is also available in Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Korean, Bengali, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Arabic.
