	Drinking Water and Health EPA. Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water. Contains fact sheets on chemicals, including some pesticides, that may be found in drinking water.


	Great Lakes National Program Office Environmental Protection Agency. Includes "Visualizing the Great Lakes," "Software for Environmental Awareness," "Great Lakes Atlas," and "Monitoring the Great Lakes."

	Microbiology Environmental Protection Agency. Provides access to Manual of Methods for Virology, Information Collection Requirements Rule - Protozoa and Enteric Virus Sample Collection Procedures, a bibliography of EPA supported research in environmental microbiology (1990-1995), and images of water-borne microrganisms.

	Region 5 Water Homepage Environmental Protection Agency. Provides information on water issues covering the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

	Gulf of Mexico Program Environmental Protection Agency. Contains subject specific fact sheets and a description of the program; see also the Water Quality Information Center's bibliography Hypoxia and Eutrophication in Estuarine Waters.

	IRIS: Integrated Risk Information System Environmental Protection Agency. A Web prototype system providing information on human health effects that may result from exposure to various substances--including pesticides--found in the environment.

	Monitoring Water Quality EPA. Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds. "Addresses methods and tools to monitor, assess, and report on the health of America's water resources..." Contains information on volunteer monitoring, including issues of The Volunteer Monitor, a newsletter which "facilitates the exchange of ideas, monitoring methods, and practical advice among volunteer environmental monitoring groups across the nation."

Environmental Protection Agency.
Contains online newsletter, calendar of events, project summaries for estuaries in the program.


	Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances Environmental Protection Agency. Covers topics including consumer information, databases and tools, education and kids, how to find information, international activities, right-to-know, rules and legislation, test methods, and guidelines.

	Office of Sustainable Ecosystems and Communities Environmental Protection Agency. Fosters "the implementation of integrated, geographic approaches to environmental protection with an emphasis on ecological integrity, economic sustainability, and quality of life--otherwise known as Community-Based Environmental Protection (CBEP)." The office "is involved in developing and supporting demonstration projects, tools, and policies that support CBEP activities..." Includes access to News Online, "a bi-weekly newsletter about CBEP activities within and beyond EPA" and a section on grants.

	Office of Water Environmental Protection Agency. Provides publications, databases and software, program descriptions and more.
