The certified organic 5.8 acre Indian Valley Organic Farm and Garden is located at the Novato campus and is managed through a partnership with Conservation Corps North Bay and University of California Cooperative Extension. College of Marin is home to the nation's first State-approved Apprenticeship in Organic Farming and Gardening.

The certified organic 5.8 acre Indian Valley Organic Farm and Garden, managed through a partnership with Cultural Conservancy and University of California Cooperative Extension, "was created to support and sustain local food systems and organic agriculture," to teach Marin County residents about local agriculture, and "to provide fresh and healthy food for local residents." Students use the farm for research, coursework, and to meet degree program requirements.
