The College of the Redwoods Sustainable Agriculture Farm, a 38-acre student-operated sustainable organic farm, offers farm enterprise courses and includes a CSA program.
The 11-acre, certified organic Cal Poly Organic Farm provides students with a place to gain hands-on learning experience in organic and sustainable farming and gardening practices.

Students operate campus farm stands and supply produce to the campus dining services.
The Snyder Research and Extension Farm is the Rutgers University Center for Sustainable Agriculture. The Snyder Farm offers land [including certified organic], research and other services to Rutgers faculty studying sustainable agricultural production techniques.
Sustainable practices are taught at the 85-acre Butte College Farm of which 17 acres is certified organic. Organic Farming Workshops are held February through June. Offers Agricultural Science course (AGS 104B) on organic farming techniques including organic methods of disease and pest control.
