The college also offers a Certificate of Achievement in Landscape, Organic Farm, and Garden Production. The certified organic 5.8 acre Indian Valley Organic Farm and Garden is located at the Novato campus and is managed through a partnership with Conservation Corps North Bay and University of California Cooperative Extension. College of Marin is home to the nation's first State-approved Apprenticeship in Organic Farming and Gardening.

The 80-acre Hampshire College Farm Center is a "working farm, as well as a research, education, and outreach facility dedicated to sustainable agriculture." Operates organic Community Supported Agriculture program.

Students can explore organic and sustainable agriculture, agroecology and environmental sciences at the 25-acre Evergreen State College's Organic Farm. The Organic Farm's Sustainable Agriculture Lab is a hands-on training facility. The farm includes a food-grade laboratory, the student-designed and built Organic Farmhouse, and the student-run Demeter's permaculture demonstration site and Community Gardens. A Community Supported Agriculture program and community-based activities also are available.
