The Agroecology Minor requires four courses in the Agroecology Summer Intensive program plus two additional courses.

This Kellogg-endowed program provides interdisciplinary sustainable agriculture research, education and outreach leadership and engagement for The Ohio State University and its many partners throughout the State of Ohio and beyond. Current degree programs supported are the Associate Degree in Sustainable Agriculture, the Undergraduate Minor in Sustainable Agriculture, and the Agroecosystems Science specialization in the Environmental Science Graduate Program.
Coursework in the Agricultural Technology Program covers organic and sustainable technology, organic food production systems, sustainable vegetable production, application of sustainability practices, precision agriculture, high tunnels, and hydroponic systems and more. "Emphasis is placed on the application of sustainability principles on the university's farm, research plots, gardens, hydroponic systems, greenhouses, and high tunnels."
Courses and/or lectures series offered on organic agriculture, sustainable gardening, hydroponic food production, integrated pest management, soil conservation, and more. Operates the Cabrillo College Horticulture Organic Farm.

Smith Research Center Horticulture Unit is a certified organic vegetable production area where research emphasis areas include certified organic vegetable production and sustainable agriculture. The Unit is one of three organic agriculture research units in the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station system that has certified organic research plots and focuses on applied research to support small-scale organic farmers.
Research at the North Alabama Horticulture Research Center is focused on organic production of tomatoes, peppers and sweet potatoes in organic systems. Beech Hill Farm is a working, sustainable organic student farm. "Students, staff, faculty, and farm managers work collaboratively to meet the farm's threefold goal of local and sustainable food production, education and good land stewardship." College of the Atlantic students can use the farm for coursework and projects.
