Four-acre certified organic farm near the Pullman, WA campus is operated through the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences and is used for teaching and Extension, and for the WSU scientific community to conduct organic research projects. The farm's summer field course, Practicum in Organic Agriculture, is a requirement for the organic agriculture major. Students produce certified organic vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers that are distributed through local food banks, on-campus food service, a 100-member CSA (community supported agriculture), and a local farmers' market. Tours are available to individuals.
