This intensive three-day course offers practical guidance on setting up and running a market garden or small-scale produce operation. The school emphasizes organic production methods, direct marketing, and economic considerations as well as soil fertility, crop production, greenhouse management, pest and disease management, post harvest handling,and equipment and labor needs.
