In addition, the basic space requirements of the various rooms are shown, so that other designs can be developed to meet the needs of the planners.
How does housing for older people, or senior citizens, differ from housing for younger people? First, the older family no longer needs as many rooms or activity areas as it once did. Also, easy maintenance and safety assume greater importance."
