Three projectile point styles were used during the Middle Woodland Selby Bay phase (200 to 900 A.D.). The use of different point styles during a given time span is unusual, and may reflect functional uses, time period differences, or geographical differences.

The three Selby Bay projectile point styles are the Jack’s Reef corner-notched point, the Jack’s Reef pentagonal point, and the Selby Bay/Fox Creek point.
