Dr. Young developed the collection as he conducted extensive research on the military defoliant Agent Orange. PRELIMINARY WITNESS LIST
Pursuant to the March 11, 1974 Procedural Order of
Administrative Law Judge Frederick W. Denniston, the National
Forest Products Association ("NFPA") hereby submits a preliminary list of the witnesses it intends to call in these
proceedings.
NFPA's witnesses will appear in the forestry phase
of these proceedings.

They will speak to the usage of

2,4,5-Trichlorophenoxyacetic Acid ("2,4,5-T") in forestry
applications.

It is anticipated that the forestry phase

of these proceedings will not commence for some time.
Other phases of these proceedings—relating, for example,
to the questions stated in Sections V.A. and V.B. of the
Assistant Administrator's July 19, 1973 Statement of
Issues, and relating to the usage of 2,4,5-T on rice
are likely to precede the forestry phase.

Prior to the

commencement of the forestry phase, NFPA intends to request
the opportunity to file a revised witness list. Such a re'. &gt; • , \ ,
vised witness list, filed well in advance of NFPA's appearance,
will be designed to avoid testimony which would be redundant
at that point and to provide testimony which will be responsive to the issues developed in prior phases of these
proceedings.
