Objective
Issues in food safety are continuously changing due to innovations in food production, food technology, processing, packaging, distribution, retail operations, regulations, as well as human factors. Florida CES will meet the current needs of food processors and retailers by implementing educational programs that address HACCP quality control systems and general sanitation.
More information
Information will be efficiently delivered to user groups through computer technology such as CD-ROM and on-line services. Food safety information will also be integrated into school curricula to provide individuals with life-long knowledge leading to safe food handling behavior.
