More information

Flocks will be assessed for Salmonella and Campylobacter status at market age in commercial processing plants located in at least three geographical locations. Carcasses will be removed from processing lines immediately prior to chill immersion and subjected to microbiological analysis for Salmonella and Campylobacter at each processing plant.

The data collected in the processing plants will represent the overall microbiological status of each complex with regard to Salmonella and Campylobacter.
