Pesticide Residues

Pesticides are chemical agents used to protect food sources from infestation, but their residue may be toxic when consumed in a sufficient quantity.

Environmental Protection Agency (United States).

Describes the role and responsibilities of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory which is under the Office of Pesticide Programs of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The laboratory provides scientific and technical support through chemical analyses of pesticides and related chemicals.

European Food Safety Authority.
