1.Increase understanding of the data that public sector procurers and suppliers collect. 2.Explore data about the proportion of food purchased across the public sector that is: a.Purchased locally. b.HEPS certified. c.Processed, manufactured, or sold by SMEs. d.Compliant with due diligence requirements for forest risk commodities. 3.Improve knowledge on the flow of provenance and compliance data through the supply chain. 4.Synthesise insights and apply data to inform future public sector food procurement policy development. 5.Highlight where policy levers might be developed to support compliance monitoring and deliver progress towards the Government's manifesto commitment.
