Developing indicators for the monitoring of the government Agri-Food Chain ? - FA0505

The baselining exercise of this project will enable the Agri-food Chain directorate to map policies and the causal pathways to priority outcomes. In addition, it will allow the Directorate to monitor future progress effectively and highlight any significant data gaps that need addressing. In addition, the metrics and indicators identified in this project will be used to inform monitoring and evaluation of the recent 'UK government food strategy for England'. It is important to note that this research was conducted before the publication of the UK government's food strategy for England in July 2025.
