THE EVALUATION OF THE PHYSIOLOGIC AND MICROBIAL PARAMETERS IN POULTRY ADMINISTERED POULTRY STAR¿

Objective

To assess the efficacy of Poultry Star¿ on the colonization of Clostridium perfringens and its ability to cause Necrotic enteritis in commercial broilers. The goal of this objective is to evaluate parameters that include but are not limited to: efficacy, dose, production, timing administration (feed/water), immune, and best management practices. The results of this research will be utilized for the development of a commercial product to reduce Clostridium perfringens. 2) To assess the efficacy of Poultry Star¿ on the colonization of Eimeria and its ability to cause Coccidiosis in commercial broilers. The goal of this objective is to evaluate parameters that include but are not limited to: dose, production, lesion development (Clostridium/Coccidia), intestinal physiology, and efficacy. The results of this research will be utilized for the development of a commercial product to reduce Coccidiosis. 3) To assess the efficacy of Poultry Star¿ on the colonization of Campylobacter and its ability to cause Campylobacteriosis in commercial broilers.
