Food Safety Pathogen Reduction

Objective

To reduce the public health risk due to Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli
and other food pathogens. <P>
Generate data on Listeria and Escherichia coli 0157:H7 and other food pathogens for use by regulatory/action agencies and industry.
<P>
This is an umbrella project to hold food safety funds. FY1999 Program increase for food safety.
