Develop new and improved methods to minimize quality losses during handling and storage of grain and reduce dust emisions and maximize urilization of grain quality attributes.
Develop and validate models for prediction of temperature, moisture content and airflow distribution in selected grain mass geometries and airflow systems, evaluate drying and aeration control strategies, predict grain breakage in conventional handling processes,reduce dust emissions and develop instrumentation and methods for on-line quality assessment of whole grain in moving streams.
