The University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension System will develop a Model Consumer Food Safety Education Center. The purpose of the Center is to provide consumer and train-the-consumer trainer programs that promote and enhance food safety and food handler education for children and youth, older adults, high risk groups, and consumers handling food in the home.
