Sequencing and Annotation of a Poultry Isolate of Campylobacter Jejuni

Objective

Generate a complete genome sequence of chromosome and plasmids for Campylobacter jejuni (Cj) strain RM1221, and analysis and annotation of the sequence needed for a published manuscript.

More information

TIGR will work closely with ARS in planning and conducting the research project. TIGR will conduct research directed towards the development of the complete annotated genome sequence and plasmids and analysis needed for a published manuscript. ARS will provide purified DNA from Cj RM1221, after reconfirmation of strain type. TIGR activities will include an annotated genome, genome features repeats suitable for GenBank submission; linear genome representation and metabolic map; and computer assembly.
