Objective

Explore and develop innovative value-added uses for cottonseed and cottonseed products with the focus on fuel additives for 2-cycle engine oil and concrete-form release agent using cottonseed oil.

Approach: The conventional oil mill is a declining entity that will be replaced by more efficient milling operations. The new mills must move beyond the present products and markets. To improve the financial return to the cottonseed industry, research resources will be allocated to value-added uses of the cottonseed products and co-products.
