County Agents will be taught the concepts of food biotechnology and irradiation. These trained agents will in turn present programs to youth in 5th and 6th grade science classes or 4-H clubs at the same age level. Teaching guides will be developed along with two videos on food biotechnology and irradiation technologies. Adult learning of these technologies will occur through the videos presented by the children to their parents, and through adult public meetings. Success of the various delivery systems will be measured and from this data analysis a model program will be established.
