The 3-week Breakthrough Leaders Professional Certificate Program "combines online and on-campus cross-disciplinary learning to addres problems and opportunities relating to sustainable food systems and leadership."

The Hispanic orchard employee education program (HOEEP) is a 19-week certificate program designed for the Latino workforce in the tree fruit and viticulture industries. Courses offered include horticulture, integrated pest management, and viticulture.

"The Organic Farmer Training Program is a nine-month intensive training program in year-round organic farming focusing on diversified production of vegetables, livestock, flowers, fruits and herbs for local markets." Program includes management of "15 acre certified organic farm including its 20,000 square foot of passive solar greenhouse space and the Student Organic Farm for its primary markets including a 48-week CSA, 7-month on campus farm stand, and sales to campus dinning services."
This interdisciplinary certificate provides an overview of the concepts and issues of the local food movement.
The online certificate focuses on the production of plants, fruits, crops, medicinal plants, and vegetables. The program is open to high school students, undergraduate students, graduate students, master gardeners, and others.
"The Profitable Small Farms program combines hands-on learning and classroom teaching to develop the skills to start a small farm. The program has a dual focus on the technical skills to produce food sustainably with minimal negative environmental impacts and the entrepreneurial skills to develop and manage a community-based agricultural business. Throughout the program students practice growing food crops and manage small animals on the LBCC student organic farm. Farm-direct marketing is experienced by managing the college CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, and selling to the campus restaurants and students and staff at the college farmers' market."
