This Kellogg-endowed program provides interdisciplinary sustainable agriculture research, education and outreach leadership and engagement for The Ohio State University and its many partners throughout the State of Ohio and beyond.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Agroecology is an interdisciplinary degree program within the Department of Plant Sciences and the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management. The sustainable agriculture concentration "allows students to combine interests in environmental and social studies with current topics in agriculture such as organic farming practices, local food initiatives, farm workers' rights, energy sources, and farm policy."

The Agricultural Sciences major combines diverse coursework with hands-on experience at the Dilmun Hill Student Farm. The organic agriculture curriculum provides instruction "about the philosophy and regulations involved with certified organic crop production" and on "practical ways of growing crops and managing pests using organic methods."

The Berkeley Food Institute is an interdisciplinary institute "dedicated to research, education, policy initiatives, and practices to support sustainable food and agriculture systems." The Center for Diversified Farming Systems is a research hub within the Berkeley Food Institute "that is focused on the study of a set of methods and tools to produce food sustainably by leveraging ecological diversity at several scales."

Interdisciplinary environmental sciences undergraduate major in the Earth Systems Program with Sustainable Food and Agriculture track. Courses in organic agriculture, sustainable food systems, and urban agriculture. Operates the O'Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm.

"Hampshire's interdisciplinary Environmental Studies and Sustainability Program (ESSP) is a multidisciplinary program through which students develop an interdisciplinary, project-based course of study. The Colorado State University's Interdisciplinary Minor in Organic Agriculture is a cooperative effort of four departments within the Colorado State University, College of Agricultural Sciences: Agricultural and Resource Economics; Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management; Horticulture and Landscape Architecture; and Soil and Crop Sciences.

The Human Ecology degree is an interdisciplinary program that allows students to design their own degree and build a curriculum that meets their needs. This program offers learning opportunities on different "scales." Some students "focus on learning production techniques and farm management skills, or contributing to local food security and resilience efforts. Others work at the international level to understand food politics and the economics forces that affect agriculture." The college operates two organic farms: Beech Hill Farm and Peggy Rockefeller Farms.
