Register for a Patron ID

You must have a Patron ID to request items or borrow materials from the National Agricultural Library (NAL).

Institutions and USDA employees can request a Patron ID using this form. Your Patron ID and login information will be sent to the email address you provide.

Registration is processed Monday to Friday (except federal holidays), from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm EST.
