Assessment of Soil Microbial Community Structure by Quantitative PCR Analysis

Objective

Determine the concentration of microorganisms at the domain and phylum/class level in soil samples collected at various distances from beef production system. Soil samples from the airborne transport of antimicrobial resistant bacteria, antimicrobial resistance genes, and antibiotic residues from cattle production environments project will be utilized.
