Characterization of Pathogenic Aquatic Eucaryotes and Their Toxins

Objective

FDA researchers at the Gulf Coast Seafood Laboratory, the Washington Seafood Laboratory, and MOD I, will identify toxins which may be present in seafood, characterize the toxins, determine levels likely to pose human health hazards, and determine means to control such toxins.
