Objective

<p>1. Search for new natural plant antimicrobials by screening a natural plant extract library; 2. Study the mechanism of action of the antimicrobials using protein-ligand docking tools to synergize the application of plant compounds with known antimicrobials; 3. Study the coating plant compounds on material surfaces to control foodborne pathogens.</p>
