The National 4-H Conference is an annual event conducted by the Cooperative Extension Service, bringing together over 300 young people, volunteer leaders, and extension staff to provide their points of view in 4-H Youth Development programming for the System. These young people will be selected to represent their states based on (a) their experiences with Extension and other organizations, (b) their willingness to work prior to Conference collecting facts, ideas, and concerns of local people regarding issues facing youth and possible action plans, and (c) their strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
