NOVEL NANOSENSORS FOR THE RAPID AND SENSITIVE DETECTION OF ANIMAL DISEASES

Objective

The overall goal of this proposal is to develop and evaluate a farm-deployable novel nanosensor for easy and sensitive detection of PEDV. The objectives are:1.Production of nanobody-SBP and nanobody-enzyme fusion proteins.2.Fabrication of mNP- and hNP-based nanosensor probes.3. Evaluationof the sensitivity and robustness of the nanosensor in detecting PEDV.4.Validation of the ease-of-use and adaptability of the nanosensor in detecting PEDV in animal samples.
