Objective

"(1) Characterize expression of key L. monocytogenes cell envelope constituents under different dairy relevant environmental conditions and correlate expression with resistance/sensitivity to selected known listeriocidal and listeriostatic interventions.
(2) Use new high-throughput tools (“Tn-seq”) to identify new cell envelope targets for listeriocidal and listeriostatic interventions.​"
